What's Firebox?

At Firebox, you will find various lifestyle products with Kerala flavoured contemporary artworks by young Malayali graphic artists. We are always on the lookout to collaborate with talented artists from our land… & that's why our tag line says 'made for Malayalis, made by Malayalis'.

What's with the name Firebox?

Firebox is the literal translation of the Malayalam word- Theepetti (Matchbox) … 'why theepetti ? ' you may ask. Well, like a Theepatti thats ubiquitous in every Malayali household and  we want our products to be a part of the Malayali lifestyle too. 

Do you sell only online?

Our main focus is our online store. But we also want to associate with art enthusiast stores in the main cities… and currently, such an association is with Café Papaya, Cochin, and at Pepper House Design shop, Fort Kochi where our products are on display and sale. Soon you can find us at other stores too. 

What about the team?

We are just a few souls from Kerala, who genuinely want to represent a brand that brings quality products with great designs that Malayalis can relate to.
